As the enrichment fair draws nearer and nearer, you can see stress take its toll on everybody, including Mrs. Phillips.
Obviously, this is a big event for her. It’s her chance to showcase all of her work to the community. We’ve put months into our projects, and she wants the presentation to be flawless. We have a schedule, including such things as a choral performance, literary reading, and live MWTV broadcast, as well as the normal museum walk that lasts an hour. Fair techs will swarm the fair with their cool little headsets, ready to pounce on anything that goes wrong.
With all this protection, what could go wrong? Several things.
I think our biggest issue is the live MWTV broadcast. With our school’s sophisticated, yet old, equiptment, it’s very easty to lose a connection and have no show. It’s also an issue if a TV isn’t plugged in, the sound is off when it should be off, or even little things like seeing the script cover up the lense. But hopefully none of that will happen.
Hopefully this year’s Enrichment Fair will be successfull as last year’s, and we’ll all get candy at the end.
Feel free to drop my tomorrow night. It’s 6:30 - 8:00 PM at Mayfield. Look for my Envirothon board! Cya there!
