Yesterday, on Take Your Child to Work Day, I did go to work with my Dad, but we kinda bent the rules.
You see, he took off all of this week to paint our kitchen (it looks very nice; i’ll post some pics later), and so he didn’t really have anything to do in his office so we were only there for 45 minutes.
His office was in the Annapolis Bereau of the Sun, but before his vacation he was re-assigned and I don’t know where he’s going to work now. But anyway we got there, met some people, talked about sightseeing, and that was it. Literally.
We went to get lunch after that. We ate at the legenday “Chick and Ruth’s Delly.” Let me say that it was AWESOME. I’ll admit that the atmosphere was kinda unique, because it definately wasn’t like a traditional restaraunt.
After that, we went and toured the Naval Academy. It was stunning. Not only was it just cool, but it was an architectual masterpiece. I took some great pix of it.
After that we got ice cream at this cool little ice cream parlor on Main St. and then we went home.
I’m currently working on a script for a Javascript image gallery, so I look forward to having that be finished so i can share my pix.
