i’ll MAKE it my business god dammit

I’ll admit one thing: Sometimes I can be a very, very nosy person.

I mean, I know that what other people do with/to eachother is not really my business, but it’s usually fun to know. If I see people doing things that I find interesting or amusing or just plain fun, then I want to get all of the details of everything.

Now it’s not like I’m extremely nosy and busybody-ish all of the time. I can be fun to hang around without always having to have the scoop. But today at recess I kicked into nosy overdrive.

NOTE: Okay I just IM’d Cierra and she said they were just cuddling. So uh I guess that some of this isn’t valid anymore. It was just lovey cuddling. Sry I didn’t have all of the facts right.

(I really shouldn’t be posting about this but…) I know that Steven and Cierra have been going out for a really long time and they’re getting closer all the time, but I never thought they were as close as I saw them today. I mean Steven will sometimes lay his head on Cierra’s shoulder and they’ll like tease eachother, and that’s what it looked like they were doing at first. But they were really necking. NECKING NECKING NECKING. Like hickie necking. It was so sweet. And so “enticing.” Kelsey and Omotola told Ashley and I that we shouldn’t be in their business but we had our eyes locked on them anyway (I think they were enjoying it too much to care).

The other thing that this “encounter” made me think of is ‘When will my time come?’ Not that I’m overly-excited and anxious for it, but it really made me think.

P.S. – Kelsey is the fourth point.

meme!

I found a new meme! Thanks Rori.

1. Besides candy what else would be good to put in a pinata?
Dirt

2. If there was a product called Jellophane what would it do? What would be its pluses and minuses?
It’d be like bubble wrap, but instead of air bubbles there would be grape jelly bubbles! It’d be good for insulation and stuff, but it’d break often and spill over people’s packages and they’d get all pisseed.

3. There is a saying that ‘Hope springs eternal.’ What does charity spring?
I’m confused…..so…..confusion, i guess.

4. What is the best thing to come from Asia. How about Europe? now what about North America, South America, Australia, and Africa.
Asia: Fortune Cookies, Europe: Italian Food, North America: me!, South America: salsa, Australia: Dingos!, Africa: lions.

days go by…

Remember the post I made looooong ago saying that I was nostalgic about summer?. Well now that summer is almost finally here, I’ve noticed that everything is moving slower and the transition is really hard.

It’s hard going from the cold, dark winter to the warm, welcoming summer. I’m not used to it being dark until 8:30. I’m not adjusted to the warm weather. I keep underestimating Mother Nature. I’ll wear long pants when it’s 55* in the morning because I think it’s still winter and that it’ll only go up to 65*, but yet the temperature breaks the 80* mark. Plus, I can’t even make a guess as to what the temperature will be in my room overnight. I never know whether I should have my fan on high, medium, or low, or to have the heater on because I’m not adjusted to the fact that the hot temperature outside will affect the temperature inside. I always wake up either freezing or sweaty hot in the morning. It makes me feel stupid when I underestimate something as simple as the temperature…

Plus, I always want to play outside after I do my homework, but I always think that the sun will set at 6 PM, so I think that I’ll only have 5 minutes or so of time and I think that’s a waste so I spend all afternoon cooped up inside.

I mean, obviously, the warmer weather and longer days are having a positive effect on some people, just not on me…

Hopefully I’ll be able to adjust soon.

four days after hannah…

Well it’s been four days since Hannah, and miraculously, I’m surviving. I just really don’t get why she ended it so abrubtly. Why did she even start it if she knew that she was going to end it? It all really bugs me in a way…..but in another way, I’m at peace…somehow.

It’s all really confusing. You see, Hannah and I are really good friends. During shows, we never flirted or anything, but we were really good friends. We always talked and had fun together, and at our Fiddler cast party, we threw lemons at eachother. It was a lot of fun.

Then she asked me….I seriously didn’t know what to say. Cara finally pressured me to say yes because “she liked her a lot.” After a day, when she was finally online, I said yes and made Cara proud (isn’t that my goal in life?). Cara made all of these huge plans that we’d double with her and Tommy and that we were gonna have this really fun time together and that it’d last forever.

Boy was she wrong.

In a way, it was like a sex-less two night stand. As funny as it sounds, it’s true. It lasted two nights and then she emailed me and said that she wanted it to end because she knew that whenever really good friends broke up, it always ended in a fiery battle. And that’s so true.

I guess she asked me just kind of for fun. She wanted somebody to be there for her and that’s what she got, she just felt that she didn’t need that shoulder to cry on, so she ended it.

But I’ll always be here for you, Hannah, there’s no doubt about that.

(P.S. – 100th post! YAY!)

happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you…

Happy Birthday Chelsea!

Yesterday was Chelsea’s birthday and we had a BLAST. At first, we were supposed to go to her house after school and hang out, but her mom planned a surprise dinner at Fuddruckers! So after we (Steven and I) told Chelsea that we couldn’t come, she got all sad and then said that this birthday sucked and that she wanted to go home and have nachoes for dinner.

So, about 4:45 that afternoon, she called me from this number I didn’t recognize. SHE HAD GOTTEN A CELL PHONE! Part of me hated her and the other part of me was so happy for her. :P She also got a graphing calculator. Anyways, I told her that I had to leave (to go to Fuddruckers), and she got mad again.

When we got to Fuddruckers I met HALYEY AGAIN! It was soooo cool. I haven’t seen her for five years! We talked for like, an hour until Chelsea came. It’s good to catch up with old friends.

Then, when Chelsea came, she literally screamed when she saw her whole family sitting at a huge table in the back, and then she almost died when she saw Steven, Haley, and I sitting at another seperate table with presents for her.

So we ate and she opened presents first. That was really fun. I think she liked my present the best. :) After that we hung out in the middle of the restaraunt and stood in peoples’ ways and had to move whenever somebody stood up. Then, Natalie DiBlasi came in. Chelsea went and hid under the table and Steven and I spied on her. We went up and said “Hi” to her and pretended to be other people.

Well after that was over we went back to her house for cake and ice cream. On the way to their house, my flip-flop broke and they put eyeshadow on Steven and I. It was really funny but it wouldn’t come off!

When we got there, I came to othe conclusion that THERE HOUSE FRICKIN ROCKS!!!!! They have huge bedrooms, bathrooms, TV’s; they have everything! They even have an intercom thingy that we played with. We played keep-danny-and-steven-out-of-chelsea’s-bedroom, we played Hide-and-go-Seek (I was always found last!!!!!) and then we just chilled in Chelsea’s room.

After we chilled, we had cake and ice cream, and then we chilled some more in her living room. We took pix with Chelsea’s new phone and then we went down Dylan’s little baby slide. It was sooooo fun.

After that, Chelsea’s dad took us home. It was SCARY driving down their road at night! We talked about Mayfest, my broken shoe, and Eminem. I was surprised that I knew all of the words to one of the Eminem songs (I forgot the name :P).

It was probably one of the best birthday parties I’ve ever been to. Chelsea, you rock. :)

come one, come all…

….to the most-anticipated Music Department event of the year: the MAYFEST!

The first-ever Mayfield Woods Mayfest is going to be held Saturday from 1:00 – 4:30 PM at Mayfield. As usual, I have decided to involve myself in this event. The other week, Mr. Hunter asked for event helpers; people to make sure our insturnments aren’t stole, people to guide around out guest bands, and cool, fun stuff like that. I raised my hand, and today he handed out the schdeules with our jobs on them. Guess what my job was:

Water Seller.

:O :O :O :O :O

WATER SELLER? Who the frick is going to buy WATER there? There’s going to be ice cream, sno cones, soda, and a whole buncha other crap. And water. And I’m selling the water. Big whoop. My booth us surely gonna bring in TONS of revenue for our band. I mean I bet we’re going to seel the most of all of the food booths. Yeah right.

Other than the fact that I have to waste 5 hours of my life selling water, I think that the Mayfest could be cool. If we get a large turnout, then we could generate tons of $$$ for our school. Plus, some of my friends will be there so I’ll have some people to chat with. While I’m selling water.

I hope that this event is a success and I hope EVERYBODY comes! My band is playing around 2:45 – 3:15 ish. Be there or be square.
