I Give Up!

Last night, I took on the biggest endeavor of my life; trying to befriend Briana.

To some dismay, it failed miserabley.? Even though I wanted to try and work things out, she kept acting like an idiot, pretending she was preppy and then an OG, so that she could “lighten up the conversation”.? Bullcrap!

But THEN, I learned that it wasn’t even Briana whom I was talking to.? It was one of her friends who shall remain nameless, and when I confronted Briana about it, she said that she was there and for 12 hours now she has maintaned her story.? I doubt it.

And now, she can’t get the idea through her head that I’m over her.? She acts like I only wanna be friends again so we can like date or something!? Where the crap did she get that idea from?? Which tabloid has she been reading?

So, I’m through with Briana Lawton.? If she’s going to act like this, then I’m done with her.? No more Briana for me. :)

Back in the Woods

My return to Mayfield after vacation has been a very…..busy one.

My new related art for this quarter is Home Ec. with Mrs. O’Brien. She seems pretty cool, I guess. She’s done most of the spirit days, which I guess makes her cool in my book. We started out first project today, designing an ad for a magazine based on an original product of our choice. Courtney and I are working together on an ad for the iBox 2.0. It’s pretty fun! I also get to sit next to Caroline which is awesome.

In Spanish, we got brand spankin’ new seats. I sit next to Chase. It’s pretty fun except for the fact that he talks a LOT. Curtis sitting directly in front of him doesn’t exactly contribute anything good to the situation. I finished last quarter with a B average!

We also got new seats in Reading. I’m in the same seat, but I sit in between Seun and Julio, which is pretty cool. We’re working on To Kill a Mockingbird. Last quarter, I finshed with a 97% A average!
Science was pretty lame today. We dropped metals into acid. Big whoop. Now, I sit next to James and behind Christian and Kelsey. Kelsey’s cool. I like working with her in labs and stuff. A average last quarter
We even got new seats in Band. Now, I set in between Rendie and Mackenzie Tews. It’s a pretty cool seat. Probably A average last quarter.
In math, I sit alone in the corner with Valery. AWESOME SEAT! We have soooo much fun together!!!!!! Mrs. Silverman can’t even hear us talking half of the time. I finshed last quarter with a B average.

Mrs. O’Connell let us PICK our own new seats the other day in Social Studies. I sit in the row with my History Day group, next to Steven and the wall. I’m pretty excited. This is gonna be a cool seat. 95% A average
And, finally, in English, I sit in the front row wth Steven. 91% A average.

I’m glad to be back :)

It’s Offical!

I can see,
It’s no mystery,
It’s so clear to me,
What we had is all history.
It’s OK,
I can sleep at night,
It will be alright.
I can hear myself saying,
I am better off without you,
Stronger than ever and I,
I’m tellin’ you now:

Don’t go knockin’ on my door.
Don’t go knockin’ on my door.
Don’t go knockin’ on my door.
Do what you want,
As long as you don’t come back.
Don’t go knockin’ on my door,
Gotta stay away for sure.
And now I ain’t buyin’ that,
You better get off my back!

I’m putting myself out on the market!? In the words of Tyler/Ashley, I’m single and ready to mingle!

Walt Disney World….There and Back Again!

And I’m Off!

Hey, everybody!

I’m leaving tomorrow for Florida, and since I have no way of monitoring comments, I’ve disabled them until I return on Saturday.

See you on Saturday!

Okay, Honestly, One More Week of this and I’m REALLY Going to Explode!

This vacation to Florida is coming just in time! My week has been SO busy and stressful! I’ve had about 4 hours of homework each night, and I’ve worked on my Science Fair project/board every night, clogging up basically ALL of my social life for this week.

I turned my project in today, but I don’t think Mr. Brown or Mrs. Phillips liked it. They both were giving my board wierd looks. They hate it. But I don’t care. It was a dumb project anyway. I spent way too much time on it this week.

In Spanish today, we made molas. I’m still not really sure what they are, since Se?ora Quinn didn’t really tell us. Mine is a dragon. A Ghetto dragon. Ghetto-tastic.

We also got our TYA Cast List yesterday. I just have one word: fuck. All of the parts are jacked up. All of us guys who can sing are sick of standing in a certain someone’s shadow. Cara, Cody, and I deserved MUCH better parts than the crap we were handed. Now, don’t get me wrong; I’m all for sharing the spotlight. But enough is enough! I’m sick of being upstaged by un-talented….people! I think that I deserved MUCH more than the Pharoah and Zebulen. Whatever….

We were also isued our new Realidades textbooks in Spanish last week! They rock. Those textbooks are awesome, and we’ve only used them twice so far!

We also got our preliminary schedules yesterday. Here are my classes for next year:

Biology G/T

Spanish II Honors

Geometry G/T

U.S. History G/T

English G/T

I’m really happy with my classes for next year. I still neet to sign up for Drama I.

And, finally, for those of you who don’t know, I’m going to be in Disney World next week. Details to come.

So Much to Blog About, So Little Time!

Well, the past couple of days have been very eventful, and unfortunately that means that I have had little time to be online!

Saturday: First TYA Joseph rehersal! We mostly read monologues and sang as our “audition”. My monologue went pretty well. It definately could have gone better. Way too many people picked up what was meant for one person. My song went VERY well, considering that it was a capella and I had had minimal rehersal time. I caught up with Tico during break, but everybody was really LOUD! Maybe it’s just the new people, I dunno. The new people are pretty cool. Briana has a big rash on her neck.

Sunday: My mom made me go to church. Blech. I had to serve, too. Unfortunately they decided to use incense so I had to hold that little pot thing with all the nasty incense for like 5 minutes, and I thought I was going to gag to death, but luckily I didn’t. Then, we went to Staples and got some spray glue, a ruler, and my tri-fold board for my science project. I also knocked out my whole math project! It’s awesome!

Monday: Freakishly warm! It’s about 60 degrees right now! I think this is the first time that it’s been January and I’ve warn shorts to school. I wasn’t even cold outside! I was quite comfortable, actually. MWTV went okay….Seun didn’t show up so I read with Cierra. She seemed dead….no enthusiasm. Mr. Brown was our sub in Music. Garrr. He said that we could only “put one CD in while we did our work” and if we fought over it he was going to “shut the boom box down”. We put in like Now 10 or something. There was that one song on it that goes “If I move, you move, just like that. If I move, you move, just like that. If I move, you move, just like that. Hell yeah, ay DJ bring dat back!” and so we put it on. When Mr. Brown heard it he exclaimed “Did I just hear a cuss word???”, and then Theresa or Stephanie said “But they use it in the BIBLE!” and so Mr. Brown went on talking about how it’s used as a noun in the bible and in the song it was an adverb or something. It was funny.

Nothing is getting done with the MWTV Executives. Steven is the only one actually working.? The magnets are not coming along that well…..they look kinda boring.? There are no capital letters.? The mailboxes are a whole nother story.? Becky and Jelani decided that just typing names into Word and then printing them out would somehow magically produce them into label-format.? They are not that computer-savvy is what I have concluded.? I feel like I’m going to be the one doing the bulk of this project.? I need some new executives.

I have the best self-declared, non-blood sister ever.? :)

That’s Not Britney Spears, It’s a MAN, Baby!

Britney Spears – Pepsi Twist – Google Video

I totally miss this commercial! That used to be one of my favorite commercials…..

I also miss Austin Powers. Anybody hear any plans for a fourth movie? I haven’t heard anything, but there’s always reason to hope!

Remember me Well, Children, For I Think That I Shall Explode Before the Week’s End!

AAAAAAAAAAH! I have been so busy lately. Even after I’ve prioritized and categorized and practiced all of my Leadership Outlook habits, every night I still seem to end up swamped in homework! It’s pure craziness.

I’ve had 2 – 3 hours of homework EACH night all week! Usually I have an hour and a half, but in the New Year this statistic seems to have doubled. I can’t say that I’m exactly thrilled about this development. I guess new changes come with the new year…

I’m also very concerned about the quality of my audition on Saturday! I still have a lingering cold, and I’ve been so swamped with homework that I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time working on my song or my monologue. Previous shows have shown that I am an excellent crammer, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to pull through with an audition. Rehersals are different!

The MWTV Executive Team has also been having some interior crisi. Yes, I mean to say crisi, becuse if I said ‘crisisis’ then I would be making up a word! But anyway, a certain producer has been talking smack about me and my methods, saying that (s)he can do things much better, when this person comes in and gets NOTHING done! NOTHING! I’m on the edge of firing this person, but I have to keep my composure or I could lose my job. That would not be a pretty sight!
