Hmmmmm….
The sky and the Dopplar Radar aren’t looking too hot right now.
Oh well. I’ll wear a sweatshirt with a hood…
Funnier than a cup of sand.

L O S T finale last night!!!!!!!! Wow. That was an awesome episode! A few BIG questions were answered and a couple of new mysteries were created. And wtf happened to the hatch? The Discharge was just like…BOOM! Is the hatch gone? Was it gutted? I guess it’ll all be answered next season! And the season after that, possibly.
After Lost was over at 11, I convinced my dad to let me stay up to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live at 12:05 because Hugh McIntyre from The Hanso Foundation was scheduled to appear. He is SUCH a loser. An idiot in person. Full of B.S.
So I went to bed at 1 and woke up at 6. Five glorious hours of sleep. I took two packets of Instant Coffee and a Diet Coke to school to perk me up. I had the Diet Coke and one coffee double-fistedly during homeroom before the show and I had the other pack during lunch. We had our pizza party during math (which Shelby ate a whole pizza and a half at! That’s freaking awesome), but when we were done eating Mrs. Silverman sent us to lunch. So, with like 15 mins I left for lunch and went up to the Skybox to find Grace and Ashley studying for O’Connell’s test. I brewed some coffee and joined in, and then Mr. W walked in and talked about the test and it slipped out of my mouth that I hadn’t studied and he gave me this wierd look. Ergh. By the way, I ACED the test!
So I came home and slept for 3 hours. I am going to be so freaking tired tomorrow. Does anyone know if they serve coffee on the Bay Lady?
My group for tomorrow is okay…..I have Steven, Bradley, Jared, Jesse, Evan, and like 5 other people. And Brian. Wonderful. Wonderful Mr. Brian. Yay….not. I seriously hope it starts POURING tomorrow. That would be so awesome! This field trip seriously sounds really bad, as does our dance at the end of the year. My bestest friend isn’t even going on the trip tomorrow because she forgot her money! I’m gonna miss Ashley. :(
P. S. – Romeo and Juliet today made me wanna slit my wrists.
you make it harder than it has to be,
how strong do you think i am?
how much can i take of this?
am i a rock
or a rose
or a fist?
or the breath at the end of a kiss?
how deep do you wanna go,
cuz i’ll go there if i can,
you make it harder than it has to be,
how strong do you think i am?
Mayfest was awesome! I saw Chelsea, Ashley and I made lemonade with bugs and lemon juice in it, and we performed. Pure bliss. Oh yeah, I also took my bell off of my clarinet to hold my music down. That was fun!
Mrs. Hutzell is honestly just like….god I don’t even know. The worst drama teacher ever. How can you teach drama and not know what “pantomime” is? What the hell? It’s not “talking without saying anything”, it’s “pantomime”. I know it’s a hard concept to grasp, but deal with it. And then she spent all day trying to teach us that stupid dance for our stupid book. She didn’t even know what a grapevine was. She called it “this thing”.
She is a disgrace to the performing arts.
Blogging, writing, podcasting, and now customized Post-It notes.
Contrary to how stupid it MAY sound, it is actually quite fun! See, Mrs. Phillips bought this book about Powerpoint and in it was how to print sticky notes with Powerpoint, so I thought, Hey, this looks cool!, and so I gave it a shot.
It’s awesome!
I have notes printed out that say “From Danny, your friendly weatherman!”, “From the desk of Danny”, and some various other things I’ve printed at school yesterday and today.
But the fun doesn’t stop there!
Since I don’t have Powerpoint on my computer, I figured out how to do it in Mac Pages, and boy is it fun! My latest set includes:
?The nine scariest words are ?I?m from the government and I?m here to help!??
?I get to travel to a lot of overseas places, like canada!?
and ?Acting is all about honesty. If you can fake that, you?ve got it made!?
This stuff is awesome, seriously. You should try it!
Basically everything I did today!
My mom took us out to lunch since me sister and I got awesome interims, but Luci had a doctors appointment and “since it would be easier”, I had to go to the appointment so she wouldn’t have to pick me up inbetween appointment and lunch. I put up a fight but finally gave in.
Big mistake.
While we were at the office, the nurse realized that I don’t meed the county school immunization requirements, which means that they could potentially kick me out of high school. So, basically, the nurse called me back and unexpectadley stabbed my arm with a syrange and injected me with Hepititus B vaccination. Lovely. I have to come back next week to get blood drawn to make sure that I ‘m immune to chicken pox (since I had it in third grade, but they doctor didn’t have a written record of it), and then I have to come back next month and in six months for my other shots. Yippee. If they hadn’t changed the immun. requirements then I wouldn’t have to go through all of this. Oh, the joy of public schools.
So, then we went to Red Robin. Caeser Salad + Chicken Tortilla Soup. The usual. And a sundae (are they called suckdae’s now?) for dessert since I was a big boy when I got my shot!
So, in between lunch and the mall, I went home and made a DVD of all of Rosalie’s movies! It turned out really good, but it took a LOOOOONG time to burn. Like 90 minutes. But I got over it.
So I met Chelsea at the mall at 5. I also met her friends Kelly and Clinton (Sorriyah was there but I know her from NHD). We had an AWESOME time! Chelsea made us go into JC Penny to find graduation dresses, but she didn’t actually even buy one! We were in there for like 40 minutes, but it was fun. We also got kicked out of some store! The nerve of some people! We were looking at Mother’s Day presents and the sales clerk came over and said “Okay gang, time to mosey along.” WTF? Someone will be getting a call from my lawyer! So instead I went to Godiva and got my mom some very yummy-looking chocolate bars (one milk + one dark). I also got a bananna smoothie and Chelsea got a really tasty coffee drink. And I SAW CARA AND KATHLEEN!!!! It was awesome! I hadn’t seen either of them in forever! I was gonna possibly go see Scary Movie 4 with then but I couldn’t get a ride home. That stunk, but I still got to hang out with my awesome-est friend Chelsea.
And I wrapped up the day with Degrass and Instant Star. Degrassi was a let-down. Emma should have like gone into a comba or something. Major bummer! Instant Star was okay…I guess I expected more for a season finale, but it was still pretty good. Jude’s alubm drop party had som AWESOME remixes playing, and I’d love to get my hands on them. And what’s up with that scary photo-boy? Maybe something for next season (and yes, next season HAS been confirmed! Filming begins in June)?
Tomorrow, I’m going to see Over the Hedge with my mom. She has a screening pass and I’m going with her and the winners of her magazine’s contest, along with Zach and his mom. Going with my mom seems really lame, but it will be at like 10:30 in the morning so there is a small chance of embarassment.
Oh yeah, Rachel. There, I said it. Happy now?
This Lost-Whore can’t get over his addiction. I wish it was Lostday.
Oh, wait. I forgot to introduce you to the new days of the week:
Sunday – Suckday (School the next day = sucks)
Monday – Apprenticay (The Apprentice)
Tuesday – Toodo -Woodo
Wednesday – Lostday (L O S T)
Thursday – Survivay/Earlay/Officay (Survivor/My Name is Early/The Office)
Friday – Degrassay/Instantstarday (kinda ghetto) (Degrassi/Instant Star)
Saturday – Satto-Ghatto
So yeah. Well at least we have off of school tomorrow (Degrassay). I dunno what I’m going to do this weekend. I know the TYA Reunion is on Satto-Ghatto, but I’m not going. I’m gonna hang out and work on my boatload of homework, and on Suckday I’m gonna chill.
It’s supposed to rain this weekend. That’s cool. I really like the rain! It suits my mood and how I’ve felt lately.
Miss Larouere’s stupid project is due soon. This sucks. I have to really get crackin’ this weekend.
Mrs. Hutzell sucks, and so does Romeo and Juliet.
I hate English. So freaking much. But haven’t we already established that?
Shakespeare is just…stupid. Period. Romeo and Juliet is a pointless book. Haven’t we had enough books/movies/songs about love and dying? It’s so clich?! Why couldn’t he write about something more interesting? Like a day in the life of a mailman? That sounds pretty awesome, if you ask me! The stupid translation on the right sides doesn’t even help, either, because it’s just stupid! It’s pointless!
But the activities we have to do are even dumber! At first, the whole “act it out” idea sounded fun! Swoardfighting, insulting eachother, yelling, what else could be better? Well, tons of things, as it turns out. Yelling “yeasty rabbit-sucking scab” isn’t exactly what I had in mind. Possibly like “freaking idiot” or something a little more…ghetto?
Amd then what’s up with Mrs. Hutzell and her little “The Odyssey is Danny’s favorite book!” mindset? Is she freaking joking? And then asking me “So, Danny, what book do you like better? The Odyssey or Romeo and Juliet?” comments make me want to throw a brick at something/someone. It’s seriously not that funny any more.
If I wanted to read Shakespeare and act it out like this, I would join Briana in the freaking Shakespeare club. As if!
