Seems all fine and good, right? Well, not exactly. I got a “C” on my English midterm, so my mom wants a conference with Horner! She also wants one with Blasko (I don’t mind this one…I’m doing fine in there), Duff (I hate her. Who knows what she’s gonna say about me.), and Mr. Smith. I’m not really sure about Smith. I’m doing pretty well in Geometry, but it’s my only “B”.
Why couldn’t she have scheduled conferences with Chancellor and Myers?!? I’m doing awesome in their classes and they (at least sort of) like me!
This is going to be interesting!
It would be oragsmically wonderful if I could move to Celebration, Florida!
Basically, it’s a planned community owned by Disney, and it is adjacent the WDW.
I’d better start saving up! ;)

“Summer lovin’ had me a blast…”
Rehearsals are coming along surprisingly well! Today, we finished blocking “Summer Nights”. It is…damn sexy hella awesome. And I’m not even kidding! I was very skeptical when we first began working on the song. Blasko choreographed everything for the girls and told the guys to ‘freestyle’ the whole song. Needless to say, that didn’t work out too well. The girls were spinning ad jumping and skipping and the guys were…snapping. Snapping like there was no tomorrow. We were beginning to get some stuff down, but it wasn’t really working. You know? It seemed okay, but it wasn’t really right. It’s hard to explain.
Well, today, she started to give us a LOT more direction. She gave us specific choreography for each verse, and it actually looks really good! Not only that, but it sounds awesome, too! We have the majority of the Summer Nights scene blocked, and we have Act I, Scene 7 blocked (with the exception of the songs). The fighting squences look very funny…Alex is a good sport. :)
Overall, this is beginning to turn out a lot better than I had expected. I know that I was kind of whiny initially, but I’m glad that everybody works so well and that this show is going so well!
I guess I came to a very important conclusion today. I’ve felt really odd lately…as you know, I’ve been single for over a year now. For the past year (after I got over that six-month rebound period), I’ve been “out on the market” and I haven’t found anything. Diddley-squat. I’ve searched and searched for somebody to be with, and after a while it just got…old. I stopped trying to find somebody to be with. I couldn’t find anybody and I gave up. That’s not so bad, is it? I didn’t really quit because I was failing….I quit because I was bored and needed something new. Or, rather, couldn’t find something new? Or umm…you know what I mean. I did the acceptable kind of quitting.
So, today, I came to the realization that maybe I don’t need anybody! I’ve been searching and searching for somebody that I really don’t need! I don’t need somebody else to make me feel good about myself! I don’t need to depend on anybody for what I ought to have inside of myself; I’m independent. Everything is beginning to make sense now. :)

Well…things are beginning to clear up around here, thank god.
I [temporarily] fixed my template…I had upgraded to the latest version of k2 (a wonderful WordPress theme), but I was confused about transcribing my old sidebar items to the new template, and eventually I just gave up and downgraded. I’ll fix that this weekend.
My comments have temporarily been disabled. There is a bug in Ultimate Tag Warrior (which I use for tag management) which causes tags to be deleted whenever a trackback/ping/comment is received on a post. I still want to use UTW for my tags, but I don’t want to take the risk. Comments are closed until a new version of UTW comes out that fixes this vulnerability.
Smilies are broken. The smilies plugin that I use is not compatible with the newest version of WordPress. You’re gonna be seeing a bunch of :woot: and :smile: and :mad: in my posts, because without this plugin functioning, smilies don’t display. Again, I’m holding out hope that a 2.1-compatible version of this plugin is going to be released.
All of my YouTube videos and vlogs are defective. The Anarchy Media Player Plugin breaks in WordPress 2.1. The URL’s are still there, just no media player.
This upgrade has been a bitch!
Well…I am certainly very confused.
WordPress 2.1 is wonderful software, offering many new features that WP2.0 didn’t offer. Unfortunately, this has caused problems
My smilies aren’t working, there’s a vulnerability in the tags system, every post is displaying “Return to the Mobile Edition”, and a bunch of other crap is going on.
I have no idea how to fix any of it!
