it must be the madness

Last night, I saw The Simpson’s Movie. It was utterly amazing. :D

I’m going to say right now that this post contains spoilers. If you’ve already seen the movie (or are not afraid of spoilers), continue reading beyond the break.

Here were my favorite parts of the movie:

• “Thanks, boob lady!”
• “His big fat ass could shield us all!”
• “Clap for Alaska!”
• “I like men now.” / “Bart’s doodle”.
• Anything with Spider Pig.

I didn’t, however, like the plot that much. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed like not a lot actually happened…there weren’t too many conflicts. Plus, the movie seemed really short. I was kind of hoping for a 3-hour-LOTR affair. But other than that, I loved it!

I thought that the part when Marge taped over the wedding video was very emotional. Probably one of the few times that a Simpsons movie/episode made my teary-eyed.

I really should say more about the movie, but I don’t think that there is much else to say. It was amazing…what’s going to happen if the Simpsons ever gets cancelled? Life as we know it will surely end.
