ohmygosh. Really?

I heard the first Christmas song of the season on the radio today. It was amazing. The song was one of those horrible pop renditions of “Sleigh Ride” on 101.9 Light-FM, but it was Christmas music nonetheless. I thought they didn’t start playing Christmas music until after Thanksgiving, but I guess I was wrong.

I love 101.9 because they play Christmas carols 24/7 during the Christmas season/December. Although they do have the occasional techno/dance carol, it’s mostly the Christmas classics (tons of them), performed by tons of different artists. It’s great because I don’t have to go and buy tons of Christmas songs from iTunes, although I still do buy a few. Plus, my favorite nighttime DJ, Fran, is on 101.9. She has a soothing voice that’s nice to fall asleep to.

So, anyway, I heard the song on the way home, and I rushed inside and found all of my Christmas music in my iTunes library and turned it on right away, and I’ve been listening to Christmas music for the past two-and-a-half hours. It’s amazing. I’ve also been working on my Christmas layout. I was having some major designer’s block over the past two weeks, but I’ve figured it out now and I have an awesome design that I’m actually really proud of. I can’t wait until it goes live on December 1!

It’s also finally begun to get chilly around here, and I got to wear my new coats this week! As usual, I look amazingly stunning in both of them (duh!), especially the brown one. It hasn’t snowed yet (or even been close to being below freezing), but it’s still pretty early. We did, however, get our first frost of the season a week or two ago.  I can’t wait for Christmas…only 37 more days!  :]
