it must be the madness

I’ve been listening to Christmas music all day.  And it’s August.  Does that make me weird?  Although I’m not really excited for school to start, I can’t say that I’m not looking forward to fall/winter and everything that comes along with it (except school, that is).  I’m excited to start working on new shows and to begin voice lessons for the year.  Plus, I kinda like fall weather.  I miss wearing jeans and I want to buy a new fall coat.  That being said, I don’t want to be waking up at 6 AM every morning and eating lunch super-late and all the other great stuff that comes along with the school year.

I also have to work extra hard this school year to redeem myself.  Academically, last year was…dismal.  I got the worst grades in Chemistry and Algebra of my whole life, so I have to improve this year.  I’m taking relatively easier classes (trigonometry and physiology) this year, but I’m still going to be challenged.  Plus, I’m not taking Drama next year, so I’ll be a lot happier (drama class last year resulted in my mental trainwreck).

I miss middle school when getting straight A’s was easy.

P.S. - Sorry for the craziness the past few days…I know I’ve had at least three different themes live on the site.  I was trying to see how some different looks suited the blog and I ultimately decided to design my own.  So, I hope you like it!
