Have you ever noticed that whenever you’re eating ice cream that has something mixed in with it (i.e. chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate peanut butter, Reese’s peanut butter cup ice cream, etc.) the thing that’s mixed in with it always tastes better than the ice cream itself?
Last night, I was trying to scoop a bowl of chocolate peanut buter swirl ice cream and I found a huge piece of peaunut butter in the carton (as opposed to the flaky little shavings that you usually find). I quickly entered Doctor Mode and began to carefully extract the HAPoPB (huge-ass peice of peanut butter) from the surrounding ice cream. It was extremely tough, but I was successful. In the end, I had the HAPoPB in my bowl and almost no ice cream besides the pieces that were stuck to the HAPoPB.
It was then that I realized that the only thing better than the ice cream itself is the other stuff that’s in the carton; the peanut butter, marshamallow/fudge swirls, cookie dough bits, etc. But then I also realized that a bowl of those probably has more calories than a bowl of ice cream. FML.
I must say I am very disappointed.
Why does it take you so long to ship my online orders? I love getting your amazing online-only coupons delivered straight to my inbox, but I am frustrated with your shipping process. Whenever I order stuff from sites like Amazon or Musician’s Friend, they always arrive on my doorstep within five business days. Musician’s Friend is particularly amazing because all of my orders are shipped within one business day.
But you? Not so much.
I used a 30% off coupon that you sent me on Sunday night. It is now Friday night. Have my clothes arrived yet? No. Was I expecting them to? Not really. But have they even shipped yet? No! They aren’t even en route, which means that I won’t be getting them until Thursday at the earliest. This is not pleasing!
Please work on this. It is making me very angry.
Regards,
Danny

JESUS CHRIST!
How did it get to be March 9 already? It feels like it was just last week that we were ringing in the New Year. How time flies when you’re too busy for your own good!
The weather this weekend was absolutely gorgeous. 65 degrees and cloudy/sunny-ish. But unfortunately it’s going to be chilly again later this week. I’m hoping that it will be a cold front moving in on warm, seasonal weather and that the weekend was not a warm front on top of cold seasonal weather. Did that make sense? Probably not.
The Music Man opens in 39 days. The kids are coming along great, but my deparmtment(s) is (are?) really behind and it didn’t hit me until last night. I’m going to have an extremely busy couple of weeks. I already spent eight hours yesterday typing up my libretto since the stage manger script from MTI didn’t work out. fml! It looks nice, though.
I’m ready for it to be spring. Permentantly. Oh, and I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME.
Two years ago today, it was seventy degrees and sunny outside. Today, it is seventeen degrees outside (four if you factor in windchill) and there is six inches of snow on the ground. Wow.
I went to Becca’s house today. We went sledding and then hung out. It was fun, but I am pooped. The snow was nice but I am so ready for spring. I think I am in my prime when it is warm outside; I am more focused and inspired and I have more motivation. But when it is cold and bleak? Not so much.

Yeah, I know I look like crap. My hair is greasy and disheveled and I look like a pot head. And Becca looks like an old woman.
Oh, and happy birthday @uhlfreak!
