On Fall

The weather around this time of year confuses the heck out of me. Mother Nature is too indecisive; I woke up this morning and it was 47 degrees outside and it felt wonderful! I went to the Giant this morning (maybe two hours ago?) wearing pants and a fleece and felt comfortable.

Now, it’s almost 11AM and almost 70 degrees outside and I feel like I have to change into something else before I head off for our Sunday matinee.  I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind…I would have a lot less laundry to do.

Weather confusion aside, I really do love fall.  Halloween and Thanksgiving are two of my favorite holidays and I love the late October – November weather when it’s cool but not quite cold.  Not to mention the leaves around here are beautiful in the fall.  And even though I’m not really into football, I like football season and all the hype and hooplah associated with it (go Ravens!).

De Vacaciones en Afganistan

¡Que fascinante! A mi me gusta mas la escena con los soldados y sus armas en las barcas. El parque es tan impresionante.

Just Wanted To Say…

Tonight’s Flipping Out was hilarious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m not sure why I decided to blog instead of just twittering the first sentance of this post. I’m feeling random this evening. :)

I Randomly Felt Like Posting About TV

I’m not totally feeling Top Chef this season.  Maybe it’s just because it’s the beginning of the season and they’re still weeding out the competition, but it feels very slow.  Or I’m just crazy (probably this one).

I’m loving Flipping Out.  Team Lewis is back and better than ever.  Real Housewives of Atlanta has also been delivering.  I love me some NeNe!  I particularly enjoyed the wig pull heard ’round-the-world.

Summer television has been pretty good but I’m also looking forward to getting back to the regular season.  I miss Lost, Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, Parks and Recreation and The Office and I’m looking forward to finding some new shows to obsess over since a few of my favorites got canceled last season.  Any suggestions?
